The First ladies of the family had a nice time this past weekend at Ski Liberty, a resort in Pennsylvania. While the President was busy running the country, the First Lady and First Daughters spent the weekend on the girls’ first ski trip. Where was First Dog Bo? The Obama Family continues their winter vacation in Hawaii by going out doing “family” things like going to book stores. Well, we at FDW say why not bring Bo? I mean, we all know that you can teach a dog to do anything! And because Bo is sooooo smart, learning how to read would be a cinch for one so blessed as he. Come on, sure it would sound much like “ruff ruff” but we have faith that our boy would soon be sounding out those consonants and vowels like any good red blooded American dog!

What's Happening?

President Obama cut short his golf game while on his winter vacation in Hawaii yesterday. Apparently, ambulance was called to the rented home the Obamas are using. The president was very concerned that First Daughters, Sasha or Malia or the First Lady may have been injured. False alarm as it turns out that a friend of the Obama family was injured while walking on the beach.

Now if First Dog Bo had been there, he would have given the alarm of any impending “beach injury” with an adorable bark! Instead our boy is probably looking adorable while chewing on the one of his toys. Source: AFP and Michelle Obama Watch

Ahhh, This Is The Life!

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen any PDA between First Daughter Malia and First Dog Bo but that all changed yesterday, December 22, 2009. While visiting the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC, Bo accompanied Malia, her sister, Sasha and First Lady Michelle Obama on a trip to read Christmas stories. Bo, of course, was a huge hit with the kids and we got to see how much our boy Bo is loved, not only by his family but also by the American people. Source: Day Life

On Tuesday night, October 13, 2009, the Obamas hosted “Fiesta Latina” at the White House as part of the administration’s music series and in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month. While the family danced and clapped their hands, we think our boy, First Dog Bo, was at home eager to show his own Salsa skills. He may be a canine, but we are sure he could have “busted a move.” Perhaps the First Daughters, Sasha and Malia, are discussing whether their dog Bo could do it or not…

Yes, it’s true that the appeal of dogs is there unconditional love, but we think that Malia might be replacing the First Lady as Bo’s favorite. I mean, we haven’t seen our boy look so pleased since we spotted him with the First Lady (and her mutli-colored shorts) in June on the South Lawn of the White House. So that’s what’s been going on this summer with the Obama White House!

…A heaven full of belly rubs! Yes, finally some new pics of our First Dog Bo Obama and First Daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama on the South Lawn waiting for the President to return on Air Force One. By the looks of his eyes rolling into the back of his head and the open mouth, our guess is that this doggie has definitely gone to doogie heaven. If you look a little closer, he looks a little annoyed that upon the President’s arrival, his trip to heaven immediately stopped….awwww shucks…hang in there boy, we are sure that more belly rubs are in the near future! Well, it seems that the infamous White House dog was doing what all dogs do – wait excitedly by the door for his family to return. According to reports, the Obama dog greeted his family Monday when they returned to D.C. and Sasha and Malia ran to greet him. Yippee! “Peaches&Herb” would be proud for such a perfect moment for the use of their song!
