The White House, First Dog Bo’s home, was hopping on Halloween! With approximately 2,000 visitors gathered to indulge in tasty sweets, First Lady Michelle Obama showed off her purrrrfect costume as a kitty cat. We know that that is the best companion costume to our boy BO’s year-long costume of adorable doggy-ness. We salute the First Lady for being a great mommy and thinking of the family dog on a day when the focus is usually on the kids. Bow Wow!
It’s no secret that First Dog Bo is the “most famous four-legged start in America” -which means he is the new “dogfather”! And because he is the king and has higher approval ratings than the President, it’s no wonder that a bunch of crazed “Portuguese Water dog” lovers are hounding breeders for a “Bo” of their own.
Ever since Bo was anointed First Dog, requests for Portuguese Water dogs have soared, according to the officials at the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America. That’s what I’m talking about! Today, the day before Father’s Day, the President and First Daughter’s Sasha and Malia moosied on out for treats to soothe a sweets graving at the Dairy Godmother, a frozen custard shop just outside Washington.
The President indulged in a vanilla custard with hot fudge and toasted almonds; while Sasha and Malia munched on a brownie sundae treat with vanilla custard and a waffle cone with vanilla frozen custard respectively.
I can just hear Bo’s lips smacking BUT wait…our little shaggy canine friend was not forgotten because upon leaving the shop with bellies full of sweet treats, the Obama’s left with some puppy treats for Bo. What a lucky dog to get frozen pumpkin and peanut butter Puppy pops! Source: Kansas City.com

Seen here-chillin’- in the Rose Garden of the White House. The President was preparing to depart on June 2, 2009, to Saudi Arabia as First Dog Bo chills with a White House aide AND a tennis ball. Doesn’t he look like he’s saying, “just try and take out”!
Don’t be alarmed, it’s just a doll. Seen here with Managing Director, Helmut Schache, of the Koesener Manufacturer in East Germany, a toy likeness of our favorite doggie. The company is excited about the new toy as demand is very high because of Bo’s immense popularity.
It seems that First Lady Michelle Obama is the one person that is always seen with First Dog Bo.
We wonder if he just LOVES her or if she is the one with the most time on her hands…hmmm. Or it could be that while the President is off doing what president’s do, Mommy-n-Chief is the one that Sasha and Malia stick with doggie duty. Ahhhh the thrills of doggie-hood
